Yup. Lifting my poetry word for word and presenting it on her blog as her own.
Hmmm.
Perhaps I should be flattered. But I’m not. I’m pissed.
Wonder if she’ll lift this one, too? Doubt it. Doesn’t rhyme.

Gee, I love your poetry.
Oh, wait. Of course I do. Because I wrote all of it.
I wrote all of it here:
http://ruinn.wordpress.com/
Nice. Perhaps you should try writing your own.
ETA: Someone told me I should be a bit more hardcore here. Really kick up a stink but, really, what can a girl do? I suppose I could call you names and question your intelligence but what would that serve? There’s nothing more to be said here other than you’re a thief. I don’t mind people linking to my work but to take it, word for word, and claim it as your own so you’ll have pretty words to accompany all of those naked photos you slather all over your account? That takes nerve. Really.
I’ve too much to do today to be bothered with you. And if you need some new poetry to swipe, I’ll try posting some tomorrow, okay? Perhaps you can send me your email addy and I can send it off all formatted and nice so it will save you some time. I’d hate to have you fall behind.
Aidin.
Additional ETA:
I now find out you’ve done this with numerous other stumblers, as well. Geez. I was feeling all cherry and special and I now discover I am not even your first.
And for fuck’s sake, girl. A great many of the photos on your blog are from my PHOTOBUCKET ACCOUNT! You’re even HOTLINKING to to the bandwidth I pay for to keep MY blog up and running! Knock it off!
These are mine. I do see, on a couple of the earlier posts, my name is up in the top left hand corner in itty bitty little letters. Guess typing out “Aidin” on each one was too much to keep up with, I mean, since you’re apparently more comfortable with cut and paste and all. Fuck the whole link back thing. That must have been far too complicated!
And you even dedicated one of my poems to Jason. [wave to Jason] Call me, Jason! You must be hot!

Clever: You’re now online deleting all of your negative reviews. Sure, they can disappear from your page, but you can’t take them off ours.
Update: You’ve taken down three of my poems. It’s a start. Not a finish, mind you, but a start.
Keep clicking that delete button, sister.
Update #whatever: You had to delete almost everything on your blog, taking you clearrrrrrrrrrr back to June, but my stuff is now deleted. Bravo.

I never did get an apology, though. I assume she is looking for a nice one to cut and paste. Might I suggest she start with the Nixon Library?

Stealing something beautiful, intimate and without commercial value like poetry shows that that person might not be the sharpest pen in the drawer…

What an outright despicable individual.
You really were far too easy on her. After all the blood sweat and tears, it even pains me o think someone would stop to this level.
I can only imagine how you felt.

I’m sorry to hear that this happened to you, as a poet myself, I know what this is like. I personally have stopped over 600 plagiarists stealing my poetry over the past few years.
My advice, don’t look at this as a victory, look at it as the beginning of a long battle. Get yourself a good stock cease and desist letter, a good DMCA notice and learn the law a little bit.
The fight has likely only begun.
If you need any help with it, let me know. I have most of what you need on my site.

Thank you, Jonathan. I’ll check it out.

No problem, if you need any help, advice or guidance, let me know. I’m always available to help a fellow poet.

I have done all i can my friend. She has been removed, and i posted an open letter about all this. It apparently affects more than just you. Others have been ripped off also. I guess im lucky because most of my poetry is posted upon a picture with my name vectored on it. I doubt she has the brains to photoshop so that leaves me safe somewhat. I am sorry this happened Aidin, and as promised, i’ll keep an eye out for more thievery.

Plagiarists have no talent, no creativity, no morals, and no integrity. Shame on them all.

damn.
